A meeting of the Ukrainian Club of the Ukrainian Embassy in Ankara will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 18:00. In the framework of the meeting Ukrainian culture expert and writer Oleksandr Mykhed will deliver a lecture about modern trends in the Ukrainian culture.
Oleksandr Mykhed (born 1988) is a Ukrainian literary scholar, curator of art projects, and writer. He is a research fellow at the Taras Shevchenko Institute of Literature, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He is the author of three books of prose and the curator of the “Amnesia project: an open platform” a literary and artistic multimedia project which was shortlisted for 7 best world projects at “SOUNDOUT! New Ways of Presenting Literature” festival (May, 2014, Berlin, Germany). His essays have been translated into English, Polish, Serbian, and Russian. The chapters from the “AmneZia” book have been translated into English, Polish, German, Finnish and Italian.
